I get it, kind of. Yeah I think the idea is that he ultimately has control of it, same reason I prefer watching youtube videos to watching live streams, one is something I can pause, the other feels like you're under pressure to keep up, which is less relaxing.

Yeah I'm not gonna get down on anyone that is harmlessly getting exactly what they want, if they're being honest about it. Putting effort in to relationships so they grow is something that I love so I don't get the appeal at all but he's not harming anyone so whatever.
