I feel dumb, it keeps loading into first person camera automatically but I can't find where to set it to third person automatically. I've been through what I think is all the options, what am I missing?

You can pay 15k for supplies when you're just about full and then pop into a mission and idle in your apartment before they get delivered. Then if you idle long enough, when you come back the you'll still have been building guns but the supplies won't come until you are done with the mission, so you'll get full supplies for cheaper.  As far as griefers, there are plenty of ways to get into a solo public lobby but there's also getting into lobbies with goons to grief the griefers.

I have GTA on a Samsung 860. I never said "don't put the game on a SSD"; obviously single player loads exceptionally quickly that way. My whole point is that SSDs don't actually speed up the parts of "Loading Directly Into GTA Online" that are slow and miserable, which I've now said like three times. This is more likely to happen when you get dropped into a session with lots of people, or modders. When players use mods to gently caress up a lobby it dramatically slows down load times for everyone whether you're loading into the lobby initially or trying to walk into your own garage. Going from Single Player to Invite Only removes this as a possibility and lets you start playing the game faster, more reliably. So, really, drop it.

I did purchase an 860 EVO and reinstalled the game on it. I saw a noticeable improvement to my FPS but the connection does not help. I usually just play solo and hope for small lobbies when I need to play online. It's helped me tremendously with my time online. Also I cant thank you goons enough for the help on here and Discord. Don't mind me as I preach to the choir. I have been experiencing things in the game for the first time and poo poo is insane on my end. I never had this much fun playing a game in a long time so I look forward to what this game has in store. I still plan on getting this for my PS5 because I have friends that are waiting on it to release on it. So I can look forward to having two accounts. Earlier today a hacker tried to put me into a cage and blow me up. I died a few times but apparently timed it just right to disconnect online and keep the 500k that was dropped in front of me. This week might be further proof that R* has lost they drat mind 1.5x on primary targets and safe at the cayo heist. targets are normal 900k-1.4m, and the safe is around 100k, so its entirely possible to do this heist for a 2 million dollar payout, completely solo, in under two hours start to finish, plus an extra <$500k for secondary loot as usual Oh, and the $25k setup fee is waived this week Oh, and the sub is 25% off, including sonar, missiles and workshop And both the Stromberg and Toreador are on sale if you need more water based toys For collectors of the weird, the Paragon R Armored is on the prize wheel. The only other way to get this car is buying a casino penthouse and hosting all 6 of the Ms Baker missions Squaddie/Humvee is the drip this week, looks like a lot of customization options, and its a personal vehicle (NOT pegasus)

I really like it. The armor is on par with the lesser armored things, like the Cognoscenti, Baller, Shafter, and the guns are weak as heck(nightshark, most other grille mounted mg's). It is fun to drive, handles pretty well, moderately fast, has some nice and some super tacky livery options

After all that is said and done I would really like to learn and master all of the heists this game has to offer so I too can be the resident money printer for the community.

Finally got the elite challenge for Cayo Perico. Got a lucky draw and had clothes and the truck at the airstrip. *And* I won the Master Hentai doll out of the Shiny Wasabi Kitty Claw machine (just need SWK herself now). *And* I won the car using the 4 second trick. A good weekend.

Getting rid of custom music significantly improved my loading times, though they still aren't great. I did have it linked to my full music collection, though, so that might have been why even though I disabled the scan at launch option.

That is definitely a factor, made worse if you're just using shortcuts to a regular HDD or something, but for online it's mostly the whole connecting to 29 other computers that makes it intolerable.

We almost lost our minds on the CP heist this weekend. Three of us had a pink diamond and I'd gotten killed leaving the compound, so the two of them were trying to get off the island. One guy, who didn't have the diamond, got to the boat and booked it, and the guy with the diamond was swimming while getting shot at. The diamond guy dies, our total goes from 2 million to 111K from secondary stuff, Get the Pink Diamond appears on our screens and then it fades to the cutscene because his boat was far enough out. So it seemed like we were going to split 111K three ways, but somehow the timing was such that we got the full heist amount, which was a relief!

As soon as you scope something undesirable, session hop, get out of the Kosatka if that is your spawning point, call Pavel and cancel the heist. Then go back in and start Cayo again.

Game is getting more and more open for me. Almost hitting level 60 so I can get some better upgrades for my vehicles. The Progen Tyrus was on sale and I picked that bad boy up and ripping people up in online races.

Try to find an affordable car at the top 5 for your class. If you know the map has a lot of straights (some stunt tracks are notorious for mile long straights) pick a car from the Top Speed sheet. If you're doing a general race or aren't sure if the track has a lot of straights, pick a car from the Best Lap sheet. You really cannot go wrong with the Emerus or Krieger for Supers, and the Itali GTO or the Pariah for Sports. (I prefer the Krieger as it's AWD and easier to control, and the Pariah is a more comfortable driver for me.) If you're still working on your cash, you can start your own solo race and try the stock cars out - handling won't change much with upgrades so it's decent to figure out which cars feel better for you. Or of course ask in Discord - surely someone will let you borrow their ride for a test drive!
