Motel Midnight off the hook
Anyone into collecting NBA cards? I was thinking of getting back into it for fun, nothing serious. But man it's pretty confusing with all the different packs out there. Seems like the Prism cards are most popular for collectors, and the Hoops series is the best value if you aren't investing?

And Richaun Holmes is consistently efficient. Right now he’s 2nd in FG%, 3rd in 2pt FG%, 2nd in TS%, 4th in EFG%, 8th in blocks, and 6th in ORTG. And 1st (most) in fouls committed lol

lol that the sixers let this dude go for nothing and haven't been able to find a suitable backup for embiid since. I'm still mad

The Jazz have a well constructed roster. I’m saying Barnes is better than Crowder (I dunno if anybody is arguing the opposite though), but instead of being traded every season, he’s been on teams that don’t trade much. Crowder is walking salary aggregate. The fact that he has been traded so many times but still has value makes teams value him more - he has such a breadth of experience!

If you need a 3 and D veteran wing with a career <10ppg, who has shot better than 35% from 3 for a season twice, he’s your man.

The Lakers do miss Howard at times, more than anyone else they lost, but not enough to have justified passing on Gasol.

To me, the true definition of a superstar is someone who when they're charging at the hoop and fling up a bullshit shot while getting fouled, it goes in. Maybe there's some advanced metric about FG% while tightly contested, but whatever, it's just making shots that are complete bullshit on a regular basis

I actually liked Crowder while on the Jazz roster because he added size and is a pretty durable player. He could play a little bit of bully ball and he had some good games and seemed to be liked well enough by other team members. I will say that friendship ball is probably what is making the Jazz look so good this year.

God I wish we had Crowder back on the jazz

I mean The First Place Utah Jazz are clearly in a pretty good spot as it is but yeah one more big wing defender who can at least kinda shoot to take those Niang and Oni minutes is really the only thing they're missing

His development really stalled out here, I think if he was under Brett for two more years he’d still be the same player. He’s still the same rim running foul machine just a lot more efficient now.

But Dwight is an excellent backup and gives them the defense they want from the backup big which lol Holmes is awful at. At least Dwight fouls while playing D, Holmes is like one step above Jah

Stevie Lee

Maybe. I feel like he could have improved his FT% anywhere, and that seems to be the biggest improvement in his game. his other stats are pretty much the same as they were in philly, just on more minutes. he doesn't need to be playing 30mpg.

dwight was actively trying to lose the game for the sixers last night
