anyway it's kinda funny to me how this game handles power creep, the Warhammer Titan seems to basically be the Armored Titan but also it can spontaneously transform matter into weapons and do a bunch of weird tricky poo poo like not even having the user in the nape of the neck

They call it Warhammer because "The Weapon Titan" is a bit too generic and doesn't sound as scary on a battlefield.

Plus these are the guys that are LOSING to the rest of the world because of their reliance on Titans so you can imagine the rest of the world has has like, AR-33's and Humvees or something.
