i’m trying to train itunes to only show me things i like and i keep having to wade through 80s garbage like foreigner and boston as well as tepid crap from the 90s like jane’s addiction. at least some curtis mayfield, alan parsons project, and lauryn hill are starting to show up.

OK so turns out the last few times my left foot's big toe joint has hosed itself it may not have been gout but osteoarthritis, possibly caused in part by the really bad gout attack I had on it some years back. Neat! (This is the first time I'm actually afraid for my mobility, as it only gets bad when I do a lot of walking. The doctor said osteoarthritis in the toes can be mitigated but we'll see if I even get a diagnosis.)
