Yeah. The Swedish royal family died out in the 19th century and a French general close to Napoleon was adopted by the aged heirless king to prevent a succession crisis.

Also the numbering of monarchs in Sweden is wrong because of they include a large number of semi-mythological and fabricated kings in their lineage due to a fictional history of Sweden the royal family commissioned in the 16th century to give themselves legitimacy.

The OG Swedish royal family, the house of Munsö, traced their ancestry back to the Norse gods. As did every other royal family in the region. But it was alright because Snorri Sturluson wrote a book about how the gods were just really awesome chieftains from somewhere around Anatolia that migrated to Scandinavia where they were worshipped as gods because they were just that awesome and therefore it totally wasn't pagan to claim descent from them.
