A guy's Uncle wakes up from a 17 year coma claiming he was in another world, and quickly proves it. But instead of joining a group to save the world he kinda went solo cause he's a giant ugly nerd in a world filled with gorgeous hunks and ladies. It feels a lot like Konosuba, but instead of the uncle being a raging perv/rear end in a top hat like Kazuma he's actually a decent person, everyone else is an rear end in a top hat though.

The main story itself is fine, but those .5 extra chapters are terrible because that's where all the horny energy goes. It drags the series down for me.

Buta Koushaku ni Tensei Shitakara, Kondo wa Kimi ni Suki to Iitai

I've been reading it lately, and it's quite good. MC is watching an anime and wakes up the next day as the 'Piggy duke' - A side character in an anime he likes. The Piggy Duke is widely hated as being a fat, terrible character who abuses his power and authority and is a complete rear end. But at the same time he's got good reason for acting like he does, and in reality he's a very kind and devoted guy. The character has a tragic story in the anime (Lost love, not lost life), so the MC decides to try to avoid the tragedy and aim for a happier ending.

https://mangadex.org/title/24206/buta-koushaku-ni-tensei-shitakara-kondo-wa-kimi-ni-suki-to-iitai

It's quite interesting, no slavery, only the mildest of fanservice, an MC who's really likable despite not being the protagonist of the anime. There's plenty of action, plenty of fights and magic and so on. I'd highly recommend giving it a look to anyone who's looking for a fun new series.

This one's pretty good. I like how the MC's focus is on self-improvement, both in losing weight and in becoming a better person to others. He's got powerful magic but not cheat-level at it, and he doesn't get all condescending about it to others either.

And maybe it's just how I read it, but it's neat how it has this message that just being a Nice Guy who silently watches the person you love from afar isn't a good approach, it's being an actual decent human being and having a good relationship with the other person that's the important part.

There is one with this premise, but unfortunately they fight each other instead.

TBH one of my least favorite villainess tropes is when there's another reincarnator (usually the original heroine) who's actually the real villain. I feel like it's sort of missing the point, and moreover it's kind of aggravating to read.

The extremely long and pornographic one came close to that. But the villainesses only met up after they all had independently avoided their bad ends and they ended fighting and saving one who failed and became evil or something. Name is I Don't Want to Become Crown Princess!!.
It think there are also a few other stories where it suddenly turns out that every country in the region has a reincarnator running around.

Also he's noticed the plot from the anime is starting to deviate. Which is a lovely change from other protags never noticing it.

Burikko villainess does something like this iirc, but that tl's been dead for ages and it's not licensed or adapted to manga.

The main thing I remember about Burikko was being disappointed that the reincarnator heroine who decides to use her super magic power to start a revolution and overthrow the nobility is the bad guy.

you'd think there'd be an isekai where the former commoner reincarnator wants to overthrow nobility, but i've never seen it.

For other series:
Check out the Mangadex page for the series you like, near the bottom of the infobox there's a Official: Raws / English section for ones with official releases in different languages. Which then link to the publishers/site that have picked up your story of choice, if it has been.
A lot of series also get licensed by webtoon sites like tapas/tappytoon/etc, in which cases there won't really be any physical volumes, or external stores selling their stuff.

If you want print copies, check Right Stuf because they often have better discounts than Amazon. For digital, it kinda depends what platform you want to read on -- most of them are proprietary to some degree but there are ways around that. I generally just use Amazon for digital versions since I use Kindle already, but Bookwalker is a good alternative and Seven Seas will sometimes have discounts through them, like you can usually get a Bookwalker coupon if you fill out their monthly survey. They also do regular "coinback" events which isn't really a discount but gives you coins to use to apply on your next purchase which can be pretty nice.

Oh one other thing to check; sometimes a manga won't be compiled into a volume on Amazon and will just be available as loose chapters -- if you run across one like that, check Bookwalker because they'll sometimes have a compilation and it'll generally be a bit cheaper.

e: and then of course, if it's a webtoon you'll have to buy via whatever webtoon platform it's being distributed on. If you check my posts here in the thread I've posted some resources for finding official webtoon publishers, and mangaupdates will list whatever company holds the English license if there is one.

That's more or less the plot to My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered That No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against It. Dude with a no-caveats instant death ability gets summoned to another world full of isekai trope psychopaths and is constantly obliged to no-sell kill them as he blunders around trying to figure out a way home. I wouldn't say that's the plot at all, since the main character of that literally doesn't care about anything and is more of an SCP style horror in human form.

It is sort of a parody of isekai though, and it portrays the standard isekai protagonist with a slave harem or whatever as a monster who deserves death.

I read this one and it felt like a poor man's Star Ocean, with the dude being stuck in a planet of magic-using people. It would probably be better if he couldn't use magic (and be better than the natives) at all. There's nothing objectionable, but it hasn't done anything that Star Ocean hasn't done before either.

The thing that made me stop reading this was when the MC heard how the Zerg-bugs would eventually try to do poo poo in the magical planet maybe thousands of years in the future, so he decides the best way to protect the planet is by colonizing it ~for the greater good~
