I can't believe I'm asking this, but how does Trapeze Doofus walk down a hall while hanging from a trapeze?

That's in the same category of quibbles as "DNA doesn't work like that" and "computers don't work like that" and "this is a complete violation of bodily autonomy" and "these characters are serial killers".

See how a lot of people rag on the dialogue of Sally Forth, but personally I really like strips like the above. It has a refreshing tone with a slight degree of snark and a bit of meta thrown in.

It also has the same problem every Sally Forth comic has - competing punchlines. It's like he can't just stick with one and has to have the characters constantly compete with one another for the last hilarious word.

Club life in Moominvalley

And hey, psst. Don't tell the cops:
Can I interest you in some illegal... Big My?

(The scanner I bought for scanning Moomin for the thread has arrived, and it can scan a whole page in 1200dpi in the same time my parents' old thing would at 150dpi.
So I think vol4 and up will be a bit larger than the previous ones, but also a bit better, overall. Since I'll be scanning them at 200-300dpi and scaling down. )

Though as you might have seen, the thickness/sharpness of strips vary a lot throughout the runs, but that's an issue with the source material, not the scanning process.
I guess she either used different tools at different times, or perhaps there's changes in how they were prepared for printing over the years? Beats me either way.
You can see that the page I posted from Club Life is way way way sharper than this strip from vol4. It's happened in other stories I've posted prior.
I wonder if it's due to the strip getting printed at different sizes through it's lifetime? The difference in line thickness is pretty notable either way.
