I signed up for their 6 months/$69 deal back in December, I wish there was a way to tell them I signed up for the Snyder cut.

With its release imminent, WB apparently has a serious �lack of faith in the project� and �simply want it to go away.� Sutton even says that they dropped the news that J.J. Abrams is working on a Superman reboot last week to pivot attention away from the Snyder Cut.

While we advise taking this with a grain of salt for now, it�s clear that Justice League isn�t a major priority for the studio by where they�ve placed it on their release schedule. It�s out this March 18th, just a couple of weeks before Godzilla vs. Kong drops on March 31st. That doesn�t really give Snyder�s movie much of an opportunity to make an impact before another highly anticipated blockbuster comes along. After all this, though, it�ll certainly be interesting to see how the pic goes down when it arrives later this month.

I think I remember reading that it was HBO who put the money up for the Snydercut and not WB, who just allowed it to happen. If so, WB probably does't feel any real obligation to help it succeed.

It makes perfect sense they wouldn't be happy with it, since they weren't happy with the exact same thing in 2016. Since they're execs, they probably aren't happy with it because it doesn't look enough like Avengers Endgame, though

This change at least seemed to have the basis of "make it like Final Crisis." Which isn't a bad idea on its own. Probably something Snyder thought about doing at one point. But definitely for later down the line with actual Darkseid. He'd also make it not look like rear end.

Maybe I�m just an idiot but I remember seeing all the other trailers in the cinema at some point and almost being offended at how boring it looked. Like it was just a rerun of superman returns.

Then, this trailer came up and I thought �oh gently caress I�m definitely watching this�

And I got what I wanted, which was a two hour and change fight sequence against space nazis, and an incredibly deep drum heavy looping soundtrack. I do appreciate all the other world building and slower sequences a lot more with time but that is absolutely how you hook a comic book movie.
