The whole forum is gay. And dead. Content: Back when I was 9 and we got our first sattellite dish, I would stay up to watch WWE and it blew my mind. I want to visit and travel in the US one day, but over the years I've gone from planning a tour of the major cities and meeting good ol'folks to almost only being interested in experiencing the outdoors from north to south, far, far away from most Americans.

The Bloop posted:Many years ago when I was driving from NH to AZ, I stopped at any tourist trappy thing that wasn't expensive, especially in the boring west-of-the-Mississippi states I went here a few years back and it was a surreal experience. They have an automated movie viewing room with a VERY overproduced informational mini game show skit that’s about 20m long. It opens with “come work in the oil industry” ads, then moves onto the fake game show that has two multicultural families competing about oil facts with an enthusiastic show host. They start with actual cool facts about the Permian basin, ie: “What organisms lived in the Permian basin which became the oil there now??” << teen girl slams buzzer >> “dinosaurs??” Host: “wrong!!” << cute little boy in other family slams buzzer >> “micro organisms and plants!!” Host: “wow that’s right!!” << shows 3D animations and diagrams explaining more >> Then, in the middle is the good stuff: Host: “Fracking is, BLANK!” << snooty, gently liberal coded white girl slams buzzer >> “umm bad for you and poisons the water supply?” Host: “oh no!! That’s not correct! It’s a common misconception, but fracking occurs at depths much below drinking aquifers and this is totally safe!!” With animated diagrams It was absolutely surreal how overproduced it was, it was beyond an idiocracy skit. Easily a $300k production with a set, good lighting and sound, professional casting, fantastic editing and CGI/special effects Everyone should go there.
