 NEW STREAM ANNOUNCEMENT Weekly on Wednesday evenings for the next ~year, join us as we go back in time decade by decade! For the current decade, we have the currently-airing Tropical-Rouge Precure!  For those that don't know, Precure is the standard children-targeted magical girl anime of the modern age, getting a new installment yearly for the last 16 years. This year's has a tropical theme and a cute mermaid. It seems fun! For the '10s, we have Kamen Rider OOO!  The venerable Kamen Rider series is a tokusatsu (think power rangers) show that started half a loving century ago. This installment of it comes after the one we watched a year or so back, W (though it's not a sequel or anything, so no worries if you haven't seen it). I enjoyed that, and I hear this is a pretty good one. This exhausts my knowledge of it! For the '00s, we have Super Gals!  A comedy shoujo from the turn of the century, exploring such varied themes as big socks, cute boys, and, uh... other things, I'm sure. I've vaguely wanted to watch it for a while, and the first ep I watched as a test was a lot of fun! For the '90s, we have Sexy Commando Gaiden!  A bizarre comedy short that I've seen bits and pieces of over the years, Sexy Commando is weird and hilarious, and conveniently sized to let us have the whole stream clock in at under two hours. It focuses on the martial art of the same name that focuses on how to distract the opponent so that they can't fight back. For the '80s, we have Xabungle!  Directed by Tomino of Gundam fame, Xabungle has perhaps my favorite OP of all time. Entirely because of its OP, I watched the first few eps a couple years back, and I enjoyed them! I always meant to get back to it, so here we are! All this, every Wednesday at 7pm PST/10pm EST/3am UTC at https://cytu.be/r/super_idol_time, starting this week! We streamed the first ep of Tropical Rouge last Sunday, so we'll be beginning with the second ep. The winter season is by and large over, and spring is looking like awfully slim pickings for idols. But at least the one good thing, ZLS REVENGE, should be quite good! Buuuuut that ain't 'til next week. So, to help flesh out our lineup, we'll be slotting in last season's Uma Musume: Pretty Derby s2! Season 1 bored me, but I've heard nothing but good things from all corners about s2, so we'll give the horses another shot.  Also! Since this season is otherwise lacking boys, we're tossing on the 4th season of UtaPri, Uta no☆Prince-sama♪: Maji Love Legend Star!  So this week, we've these, OGkatsu, newkatsu, and prichan (which I'll probably do two eps of), settling into the weekly norm next week with REVENGE and whatever we decide to do for the prewatch.
