I grew them in Zone 3 last summer, waiting to see if they come back this spring. Some googling says catnip is hardy in 3 or 4 to 9.

This is Bandit. He'll be 16 soon. He's very laid back, is an insanely picky eater, and is super affectionate. This is Sundae. She's crazy high strung, a hunter of anything that moves, and will absolutely not be denied when she wants attention.  I love them both.

This is Butters. She's squinty due to a remedied eye issue, this also makes her illegally cute. She's a whole 6lbs of fluff and murder to any small thing that ventures into the house. Her favorite thing in the world is ear scritches, this conflicts greatly with her least favorite thing in the world which is people. She is not very smart. She will flop on the floor and stretch and be all cute and poo poo and then run away if you bend down to pet her. She's smol, but plays hard. Her fuzziness cannot be described with mortal words.    This is Milly, she's sharp as a tack and has gone from wanting Butters dead to merely tolerating her. She is 400% teddy bear lapcat attention sponge who would never hurt anyone but new vet techs still automatically recoil in horror upon walking into the exam room and seeing a tortie on the table. She has IBS and terrible farts if she eats fish and also dental problems and no more front teeth so when she sleeps her tongue slips out and its very funny.
