Blood Has Been Shed is still some of the hardest poo poo you can listen to all this time later. Hugely influential on a lot of bands, notably on DL writing for TAS

I spoke to the hamartia guys online at some point a million years ago. He was saying how disappointed he was in the album because they wanted to do so much more. I was like, dude, this album rocks. I guess he was a perfectionist.

I haven't listened to those two albums in a long time, but I'm pretty sure I could still sing them front to back. I never got into thier third and fourth ones though.

I'll always mark out for Howard Jones. I was discovering all types of metal when End of Heartache came out. My first introduction to KSE. A big group of us went to see them on tour supporting the album, and I was only vaguely familiar with it. It was a pretty defining moment for me as far as concert experiences go. I hadn't really been to a club show; just large venue concerts until that point. Pretty visceral experience that I'll always remember. I was hooked after that. Alley Katz in Richmond, VA if anyone is familiar. drat do I miss that place.

two albums dropped that aren't really metalcore or deathcore but the actual hardcore thread is just full of urban outfitters music and the metal thread hates anything remotely punk so here you go, dudes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRikE7l_5vM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S6nIXen8zk just one song since the whole stream isn't on YT, but it's on spotify and whatever else also, gulch and sunami put out a split about a week ago(?) it's fine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhw5kZMV8m8 all of the above is strictly for weightlifting and beer chugging (or imagining/wishing you were doing either)

Is anyone doing like post hardcore metalcore anymore? I’m listening to the new devil sold his soul and I want more current stuff to try out. Or melodic metalcore or whatever. I want stuff that slaps and then has clean breaks and makes ya sing in the car
