I still don't understand how this movie was made. Charles Fleischer wore a dumb rabbit costume on set for motivation, so you have scenes being filmed like this And then this guy off-camera yelling and bouncing around:   The whole thing was a poo poo-show, the animation integration was too-ambitious at the time, so it was expected to be a huge failure. And now it's still one of the best movies Disney or Zemeckis ever made. The behind-the-scenes stuff on Roger Rabbit is fascinating, and they seemingly filmed the whole process, so every release has had good special features to watch, including all these stories of how everyone expected it's failure. You have to think that the experience on Who Framed Roger Rabbit played a part in Hoskins agreeing to do Super Mario Bros. He was probably thinking "well, this looks like it's probably going to be poo poo but so did Roger Rabbit so I guess I'll just take the nice paycheck  "

On many, many occasions he talked about how much he hated the movie and how it was absolutely the worst thing he ever did. He also admitted that him and John Leguizamo were just shitfaced pretty much the whole time. He also broke his hand in the door of one of those weird police cars. Probably also because he was shitfaced.

Netflix has one of those cheesy shows where people tell their "true" ghost stories which I watched because I just needed something mindless to put on at 3:00 am. So I watched a few and then one of the episodes wasn't even a ghost story. It was just a guy telling about his life after his mother joined an insane Christian cult and then abusing him physically, mentally, and sexually because he's gay. Then his parents had him shipped off to one of those conversion "therapy" places where the horrors he described made the other stuff sound like an afternoon at Disneyworld. I really wish I hadn't watched it.

It's like an hours drive from where I live. At worst I'll get some ash rain. People living in the nearest village over might get some poison fumes and lava will probably cover a few country roads. There's a special news broadcast and I'm pretty sure the anchor already had a few drinks when he got the call because he's stumbling over and slurring his words a bit for someone whose been anchor for 30 years.
