I think Hammer was pivoting his career to medium-budget-level indie stalwart, after Call Me By Your Name. He had a part in Sorry to Bother You and all this news has probably tanked the next Taika Waititi movie, since he's the lead in that and it's already filmed.

While it’s not even remotely surprising that the most iconic vagina in American cinematic history was shot/filmed under hosed up and creepy circumstances, my heart breaks for Ms. Stone. I genuinely got emotional reading her walk herself through the process of accepting it and talking herself into allowing it “for art”. Forcing yourself to become okay with such an insane violation for the good of the project is some next level Team Player poo poo and I really hope as time went on she got to have a safer and less sexist career.
