I think I'm always gonna prefer turn-based Persona but Strikers is pretty fun and I kinda hope there'll be a sequel that involves Royal stuff, like including Yoshizawa.

Dragons dogma nerds, what level should i switch my playthrough to hard mode and just focus on BBI? I beat the main game like 3 times years ago but never got far in the dlc. Im just leveling my dude up now for it, im at 26. Is there a point where i can go into hard mode, sail straight to bbi, and not be one shot by random wolves that i can only do 1 damage to?

Cleared the Great Plateau of BotW. One thing I enjoy about the opening is that you can take your time with it if you want. There's no pressure to go anywhere or do anything and Blood Moons aren't a thing before you leave the plateau so you can scour it for a ton of resources before going out into the world. I defeated the talus, have something like 80 arrows including a handful of Fire, Ice and Bomb types and I have a ton of cooked meals and raw food to get me started. My one real dilemma is whether or not I want to scan amiibo. I can get Epona and a weak wolf, and I have all of the Champions.

Level isn't the biggest factor, but you probably want to be at least like, fifty or sixty or something like that. The only thing that really matters is raw stats which you should be augmenting with equipment from either clearing the game or doing the one non-BBI postgame dungeon. Stats are like BotW where damage is attack - defense so it won't take a really significant leveling session to significantly ramp yourself up

I like that after moving to Japan my exposure to anime has declined tremendously. Except Love Live! which did a takeover at the mall I go to a lot. Thats how I learned some poor human woman has to pretend to be a foreigner whose name appears to be a parody of Anne of Green Gables.

I streamed all of Gato Roboto in one sitting last night. It’s a really solid Metroid game with some satisfying movement upgrades and the general premise of “Metroid but cat” does not wear off in the three and a half hours it runs. I really liked it.

BotW is the perfect game of the genre for me because you can avoid the majority of combat and brute force the ones that are necessary. Lego Indy: I'm halfway through Temple of Doom and so far I'm enjoying the vibe. Lego Star Wars was fun but after 6 movies of it I was very over the sci-fi thing. The gameplay is a bit more creative as well. The puzzles are a bit more developed than 'build block/push block/build then push block' and the combat is more interesting with all the weapon variety you can get. Plus I got to drive a truck through the streets of Cairo and that was rad

I mostly recommended it because it is based around a group of student council students which is what was being discussed. The premise is around the two main protagonists being too stubborn to admit they like the other, and results in a lot of silly situations. Low stakes, lots of heart, and does a really great job of emphasizing how overdramatic teenagers are. I think cube and razzledazzle both had good one liners summarizing the show too. SNU got me into it initially, and I'm really glad he did.
