One of my earlier memories is taking a car ride through the German countryside on a beautiful fall day in 1990, and as we crested a hill looking out the window to see an endless line of train cars loaded up with M1s and Bradleys stretching across the valley, pulling out of Graf for the Gulf. The major reasons people think poo poo's about to pop off is that the ceasefire is about to expire, ukrainian separatists attacked and killed a few yesterday, and Russia just wrapped up exercises on the Ukrainian border... then never left. We'll sure know soon!
