Who was properly added though is Metabee, who is now playable in ReArise as Omedamon's Child form. Rokusho also appears during evolution (confirming Omedamon is a Jogress that skips all the way from Child to Mega), but isn't playable. Arcamon is perfect on every level, but Garuruchu is a terrible name. I was talking with a friend, and I suggested Garucier (Garuru + Glacier), which would fit the Pokemon naming conventions much more accurately.

I can honestly say I was not expecting the episode about Raremon to also include the coolest Garbamon ever, with his assistant the most competent Chuumon ever. Also shout outs to having a Koushirou episode that not only felt like a Koushirou episode but wasn't an all-time misfire. really hoping Professor Garbamon and assistant Searchmon show up again somewhere down the line, they were both awesome.

Now this is a way better Koshiro episode than the last time, which makes the last attempt so much more baffling. Raremon is still a mindless monster of the week, but Professor Garbamon and Chuumon make up for the characterization in spades. Also, Searchmon having Koshiro's crest on his radar was so cute.  Though I couldn't help but notice that Garbamon looked and acted a lot like Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb.

Of course that's just another reason why Searchmon appearing at the end was a nice surprise. A charming little grace note. And even putting that aside, I still want to shout out this episode again for having the best Garbamon ever. Before yesterday I did not even think that there could be such a thing as a best Garbamon, but boy howdy did this series prove me wrong!
