https://twitter.com/shupromobile/status/1376925138097147904?s=20 I don't think this is a massive surprise since its the match that makes sense; looks like the main event of the GAEAISM show at the end of the month will be Mio Momono vs Chihio Hashimoto; for the rights to the AAAW Championship belts. Its almost certainly going to be a fantastic match: while I haven't seen this show yet all of the Road to GAEAISM stuff has been great and Mio has been very good since coming back from her injury. I'm more excited for the show now than I was for the original one. The initial show was your typical show of this type: it had some big matches but the main event (Takumi Iroha vs Chihiro Hashimoto), while being a big ace vs ace contest, didn't have any stakes while this one (which is still sort of ace vs ace with Mio filling in that spot while Takumi is hurt) does. Can't remember if I mentioned it here but the deal is if Mio wins then Marvelous wins the rights to the belts (and Chigusa has already said that they'd make them the top belts in Marvelous) while if Hashimoto wins then Sendai Girls do (with Meiko saying that they'd display them in the dojo since they have belts of their own). Nothing else announced but I suspect you can probably work some of it out: the show last year had a Marvelous rookies vs Sendai Girls rookies match announced which would make total sense to do here; as well as a trios match with six old GAEA vets including Nagayo and Meiko which they'll do in some capacity: and also a Mima Shimoda vs X deal which might not happen but who knows. Its airing on GAORA but like a month after it happens: I think they said there'd be a PPV which makes sense since Marvelous and Sendai Girls are two of the companies that do those but nothing official yet.

I'm very excited to see what she does. Big singles matches for the UUG all around, really! The first TJPW show I ever watched had their first ever match as the opener so the stories of the Up-Up Girls have kind of been strongly tied to the path of TJPW as a whole for me.

It works with Hikari Noa: 'deathmatch wrestling fan' has always been a big part of her character and it feels like they've been building this up for a fairly long while. Its also probably not going to be a deathmatch but a hardcore match; don't think TJPW would go that far with it; may as well leave yourself an opportunity to make some more money in the future.

That was a fun show, Miu/Mizuki was a good match, Rika and Raku are a pretty good pair for antics, and the main delivered. Played to everyone's strengths and it only being three matches meant a breezy show. Looking forward to the next one!
