x-men legends is somehow more 90's than actual comics published in the 90's. it's not quite as 90's as major x, though.

Well that one's literally drawn by Rob Liefeld, it's hard to get more '90s than that.

I know this is the Internet, where you can spout nonsense without even checking, but the first two issues of Legends are drawn by Brett Booth, who's very good at channeling the 90's. Liefeld hasn't worked on anything more recent than a GI Joe mini-series.

One good hint that this isn't Liefeld is that everyone has feet and proper anatomy. Also pictured, Adam X the X-Treme's assbrain.

I was talking about Major X, which definitely has covers and penciled interiors by Liefeld.

I'm gonna be honest, I really don't care about trigger discipline in super hero books. I like that most comics either don't have guns or only villains have guns because it's bad to teach kids guns are a valid solution to conflict, but once guns are involved in a story, just go loving hog wild with them.

He goes through a lot of bodies in those four issues and leaves them all dead, dried out husks, certainly the stuff of nightmares.
