The fuckin' ringworm. Picked up a tiny rat-like street kitten while at work, in the middle of the street in South Philadelphia. Rat-like because of ringworm. I've had cats my entire life and had no idea that cat ringworm was something catching. Duh: it's a fungus & gives no shits. So I had it; my wife; our other five cats; my kid missed two days of school; then my Mom cat-sit while we were on vacation. She, her husband, her three cats, two dogs, my niece, her boyfriend, my sister, her three cats and a dog; my son's three friends (ditto on missed school); his friend's parents, their pets etc etc etc. This was in 2008. I'm sure people are still spreading it. The kitten?  She's fine.  Still kicking at 13. PainterofCrap has a new favorite as of 14:34 on Apr 9, 2021 |

I've seen birds do this to dogs, but never wild animals. It doesn't take a big primate brain to figure out an elderly golden retriever isn't a threat. Not entirely sure what miss titmouse is thinking.
