Watched it recently for the first time in over a decade and it’s better than I remember. It’s a GREAT movie to start with. Of course my 2 year old brain probably warped but that’s fine.

True story, my first cinema experience was a foreign language film Being Two Isn't Easy when I was around 3 or 4. But it wasn't during its original run so you can't guess how old am I.

we monitor many frequencies. we listen always. came a voice, out of the babel of tongues, speaking to us. it played us a mighty dub.
The first film I remember seeing in a theatre was Star Trek VI

Is that the one that has a cenobite episode? One of the Ghostbusters cartoons had a hellraiser episode at some point.

I've just discovered that someone claiming to be Richard Davis (the gun nut guy who shoots himself) commented on the Christmas BOTW last week, leaving a PO box and contact info.

I kinda hope someone follows up with him.

My earliest theatre memory is Captain EO at Disneyland. I remember standing up in my chair and trying to touch the asteroids that were flying out of the screen. That poo poo amazed me.

Sorry but it's canon that Josh likes MST3K and he watches them in advance to have jokes ready for BotW.

Also, the Rifftrax guys are obviously RLM fans because almost every new release comes after the movie was on BotW.

I also saw Captain EO. I remember being so amazed my brother and I convinced our parents to watch it again. That ate up the majority of our day at Epcot.

For the longest time, I remember that my first movie experience in a theater was Follow That Bird, though I just watched the trailer and remember absolutely nothing about it. The main things I do remember are seeing the poster at the movie theater and my mother complaining loudly that Sesame Street shouldn't make a movie because then you have to spend money to go see it instead of being able to watch it on TV for free.

It's not really stoner comedy, it's basically a commentary track for BOTW movies, plus very silly skits. All done by lovably doofy midwesterners

So they need $2 million to do what RiffTrax has been doing with no starting money for 15 years?

(Watching the kickstarter video, though, and I gotta say: Jonah Heston has gotten hot during quarantine.)
