Where is out 100% faithful version of Lost Girls, Hollywood? What possible reason could you have for not adapting that??

Spoiler: it was actually adapted several times but never released. Almost as if Hollywood execs were deliberately making the movies just to stick them in their own closets. Weird.

You'd have to get Warner Bros and Disney to sign off on a "pornographic" film of Alice from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Dorothy from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and Wendy from Peter Pan. Could possibly happen.

And you'd need Alan Moore involved or else it will be poo poo. Good luck.

All three of them are.

Non-Disney plays/movies have been created with all three IIRC.

I haven't read Lost Girls (:chloe:) but I believe it's "not" based on the Disney versions just like Harry Potter is "not" in that League of Extraordinary Gentlemen book nobody read.

Yeah got a total Cliffhanger vibe.

But other than that doesn't look great. Not a fan of... most people in that trailer (not that anyone is particularly bad).

Every species can smell its own extinction.
The old sub-genre of having an action movie happen during a disaster is making a come-back, nice.

I vaguely remember one where it's a bunch of thieves fighting over stolen bank money or something during a flood or something. Let's see if I can google it.

Edit: Found it immediately.

These motherfuckers killed a stuntman in my home town by dropping the guy, who was wearing a high altitude pack and had never done a low altitude jump before, out of a helicopter that was half as high as it was supposed to be based on their stunt permit. The director, producers and stunt coordinator fled the country the day after the accident. They were charged and fined a whopping $30k when all was said and done.

shit wizard dad

I think the original Hitman's Bodyguard was the first big oops of the streaming era where a film that had only just hit theaters was accidentally leaked online early before it had even premiered in some countries.

It was a fun enough watch as long as you don't mind high levels of Ryan Reynolds.

One of the first things we see a zombie do in Return of the Living Dead is rig up and operate a pully system.

interesting how the like title screens are all pink and neon, but the actual footage is the classic Snyder muted blues-and-browns - seems like a deliberate choice

Is there, like, one single loving person in Hollywood that gives "zombie" acting lessons. I don't know what it is about the generic "arms back, snappy head movement" acting that just irks the poo poo out of me but god do I hate it. It's like some 13 year old's version of what it means to act menacing and badass and it's just so cringey.

Reminds me of this old SNL skit where Lisa Kudrow was a "dancing around the living room table" choreographer for Hollywood movies that featured playful scenes of girlfriends dancing around coffee tables.
