My fav thing to have with gin is cranberry ginger ale, I stockpile it during the holiday season. Has just the right amount of tartness and pairs really nicely! I wish Costco here had more of a soda selection it is pretty much just coke and multi packs with cursed cream soda in it, the worst soda.

I've never found Costco soda prices to be very good unless you're always buying it at the regular price in other stores. At my local grocery store (Safeway) Coke/Pepsi products have big sales all the time and it brings the price per can much lower than Costco, so I just wait and then buy a few packs. And yeah, the selection sucks. It's the same story with price for cases of beer at Costco too, but at least in the PNW they have a lot of good craft selections and the prices are decent, just not the best.

Well there’s my problem I suppose! Probably should have read the manual will give that a try! Yeah I usually just get stuff at my supermarket too, only on sale though. I do sometimes get the flats of coke just because I’m there. Lately costco has bern my go to for fruit, because my kids go through it so drat fast. Their grapes are usually pretty amazing tbh, much better than the supermarket I go to. priznat fucked around with this message at 20:52 on Apr 8, 2021 |

Martman posted:I've heard the Fever Tree ginger beer is good too, guess I might try some with whiskey or somethin. Can confirm it's the real deal. Drinking it straight is like drinking floor cleaner. I don't think there are any added sugars or flavors. If you're not going in expecting Reed's or something, you'll get exactly what you want: ginger + bubbles.

America has one brand of gin. From the "American Gin" company. Probably not hundreds or even thousands that totally all would suck. I'm not a fan of gin though. I always have vodka tonics with a lime that I squeeze into it and drop it in.

Man I can't even find the 24-pack I was talking about online, it was actually 3 8-packs wrapped as one unit. I think it was like 15 dollars though, so having a perfect tasting strong G&T for like a dollar is fine by me!

I’m a Gordon’s guy because it’s classic, cheap, and good; and you’re always mixing other stuff in there anyway so it doesn’t need to be fancy

Anyone have hot insider info on whether the Calphalon quartz toaster oven is going on sale soon? My local 'co is getting rid of the $200 Cuisinart unit and the Calphalon is on display, but there are no units in the warehouse yet. The price tag showed $180, which is how much it is online.
