Speaking of ozma, I got a couple questions lol. A) whats the story behind the ozma porn? Was it just her getting doxxed or was there a funny story behind that discovery? B) why ozma fat? Having seen said ozma porn, she didn't look particularly fat. Was that just goons being dicks because it got under her skin?

Because on the internet then, and still now but nowhere near as bad, being a woman was automatically bad. And being a woman who didn't look like they had just escaped a concentration camp meant you were fat, especially if the person calling you fat was a fat neckbeard.

Not defending the past stuff, but Ozma was the most visible admin back in the days when making fun of a mod for any reason was probatable or bannable. So people liked to say that stuff specifically to get under her skin.

I think someone said he went to B&R but I don't know if one specific thing prompted him to leave. A lot of the mod stuff from '08-13ish was before SASS and CWCwiki/KF really kicked the gently caress off so tons of those people were posting here on a regular basis as their brand of lovely humor hadn't been recognized for what it was, hate speech. In general the outspoken female mods got an absolute river of poo poo for their jobs and misogyny was definitely a part of it. The fact that an era was referred to "cat-lady" times is kind of proof that a lot of the criticism seemed more concerned with gender then any actual facts.
