What is your favorite gummi based or gummi adjacent type of confectionary? For me it was those store bought gummies that were made back in the 90's that came in thin plastic trays that usually were made to resemble cartoon or video game characters.  The gummi candy themselves were usually tough and chewy, but drat it if I didn't feel special as a kid whenever I ate them.

My runner up goes to worms in dirt. But lord help you if you ever bought them from a corner store as the chocolate crumbs would suck up all the moisture from the worms and they would be hard enough to break your teeth.

Albanese gummy bears are pretty high quality bears. For an every day thing you can find anywhere, surprisingly just the regular LifeSaver gummies are pretty alright. I'm sure there's better stuff out there but I can't recall any off the top of my head that are like "Oh yeah wow" right now.

I'll tell you the WORST gummy candy: Those blue sharks with the opaque white backs. They taste like some kind of weird, sickly gummed up fake vanilla frosting or something, they're just absolutely gross and I don't understand why the scientists keep making them

I had this fuckin thing and my best friends sister put the plastic thing in the hot oven and melted it. I can suddenly smell that right now and I haven't for 25 years or whatever. I was into Dollarama couple weeks ago and saw these not even in a food/candy aisle, on the side of the end rack. I love sour candy but especially the ones without the sugary powder on the outside.  Had to pick up two more bags today when I was there.

My wife knew I bought myself some sort of treat but never bugged me about it. But a couple months ago she lost her job, so she took over buying the groceries. I prefer the Haribo Starmix. You get a little bit of everything, so you don’t get fatigued from one flavor/shape halfway through the bag.

They have a Gusher-like center with the texture of Welch's fruit snacks. Open up like 25 packets and dump em in a bowl that's my choice
