listen there's a difference between the gleeful enjoyment she gets out of Species, Species II and Cruel Intentions which make those great, but her Doom Guy 'Ripping and Tearing' into WW84 is gleefully enjoyable in its own right.

Last time I watched those movies I was beyond strung out. Now im sober. Let's see if they still hold up!

Also my friends, good horror movies to watch on a plane? Not plane related horror, just stuff with no nudity or excessive violence bc like what if I sit next to a nun or a 5 year old.

Herbie is a possessed demon car and must be a direct influence on Stephen King judging by Christine or the trucks in Maximum Overdrive. Definitely horror.

Herbie unironically turning on AC/DC on its radio as it runs down spectators at a race.

In addition to being possessed by a literal demon from hell, Herbie also represents the societal anxiety resulting from the fetishization of technology. He’d fit right in with the guys from Tetsuo The Iron Man.

The Car is great. It actually scared the poo poo out of me at the drive in on original release ( I was 9? 10?)

The Car 2:Road to Revenge sucks. I couldn't believe it when I saw it actually existed! Watched it on FF and it's terrible.

Joy Ride, and yes it's actually surprisingly good for a movie nobody remembers ever existed.

I remember it fondly because I saw it during the days when I'd just go to the movies to see whatever was showing without even knowing anything about it.
