And I'm not gonna lie, I'm getting a surprising amount of ~*feels*~ from hearing Kiske sing in Helloween again. None of their albums after The Dark Ride have really grabbed me for more than a couple spins, so I'd already kinda written them off as a loss. And that was a shame, because they were a massively important band for me, back in the day. Hell, they were the ones who got me into this whole metal thing. But I guess there's no fully swearing off a band with such an influence on you, because this poo poo is low-key making me a bit giddy, even if this Skyfall isn't a super great song. I love that goofy-rear end chorus though.

New Fear Factory. It's pretty forgettable really. Genexus was a surprisingly solid album, so maybe we'll get some good poo poo in the new one. I haven't listened to it fully yet, but it's bound to be great if it's the same stuff as the singles that had dropped earlier. no bandcamp link available, because as of this album they have signed with Century Media, king among kings as despiser of all which approaches consumer friendly digital media. edit: apparently I cannot post the YouTube playlist link, as it immediately just embeds as the single video I had selected? hmph. edit edit: after listening to the entirety of the album, it's pretty good. nothing groundbreaking or innovative about it, just straight up more Bewitcher if you're into that kind of thing. which I am.
