Travelling to nations that aren't Mexico or Canada is almost strictly for people with a lot of excess money, and is a sign of privilege in the US. It's not like Europe where going to another country is something just anybody can do.

With that said

A) Zero since Mexico doesn't count for some reason

B) Metropolis

The cries of the dead are terrible indeed; you should try not to hear them.
Not American, but I was curious so I discounted every country that is closer to where I live than the US, and I went from 40 something countries down to 12 - although I have visited some of those multiple times, including the US.

I always kind of figured the US has less international travel for more cultural and pragmatic reasons. Yeah long-haul international travel, which is many places from the US perspective, is a privilege. But at the same time, the US is one of the most privileged places on the planet, with one of the highest median household incomes. Maybe another big factor is that Americans are less able to take sufficient time off work to fit in a big long-haul trip, because really 2 weeks is a minimum if you're putting down the cash to fly like 3-4k miles.

There's just a lot of cool places to see in the US, so there's flat out less drive to go abroad if you want nice beaches/nice hiking/snow/whatever.
