It wasn't always though, and Pepe and Wojak were both used all around the Internet including this site. Neuroliminal is right, you can't cede anything the fascists decide to claim to the fascists, that is exactly what they want

We used one specific image of Pepe and I don’t recall ever seeing a Wojak here. It’s a sad state but it is what it is. We’re not getting the Sig rune or the swastika back, either.

In the new one, Burns discovers hamburgers for the first time, but gets sick from eating too many, so Smithers gets Frink to make a plant-based burger for him that they then start to sell. It's a big hit, Homer becomes the spokesman but Lisa finds out they use endangered plants from the Amazon so she gets Homer to blow the whistle. There's as many cutaway gags in this one as a Family Guy episode. That clip of Mac Tonight? THREE Mac Tonight songs in this episode. There's a point where Mark Zuckerburg shows up (mercifully not voiced by himself) and they make TWO jokes about poking people on Facebook even though I don't think anyone has done that in a decade.

And that the songs were co-written by Bret Mckenzie. I know you did that guest spot Bret, but come on, you're better than this. You won an Oscar.

Apparently it's Benedict Cumberbatch voicing a "Morrissey-like figure" who Lisa becomes obsessed with. So I'm guessing her big rousing speech/introspective realisation at the end of the episode will be about sustaining the racial identity of Springfield!

I thought they essentially retired that character when Doris Grau died, given that it was named for her. Maybe hoped instead of thought?

I had to look this one up but apparently they introduced a new character "Lunchlady Dora" back in 2006 voiced by Tress MacNeille. I can't even imagine the outrage if they tried this with one of Phil Hartman's characters.

Morrissey is the world's sandiest little butthole, so that's not surprising. Ugh, of all my childhood heroes who got milkshake ducked, he was one of the most disappointing.

Has there ever been a good celebrity cameo, even in the classic era? Someone who's playing themselves, not a written character? I feel like at best they don't add anything Ringo's reading of "I hung it on me wall" is worth a chuckle I guess
