Since I was 9 and in 4th grade just like Bart when the show debuted, I say Bart would be 40 and Lisa 38, but we all know the truth:

Going insane here - does Homer say "Whyba youba dooba dabba?" or similar in an episode? I swear I remember him saying it; I've been saying it since I was a kid (and grew up on Simpsons), but the ONLY reference to it I can find online is a similar post from someone asking where the quote is from. Help!

Are you thinking of the several times that the Flintstones catchphrase 'Yabba Dabba Doo" has been used in the series?

Perhaps one of these two in particular:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0UrAeBPdWw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Hft-fTHQWg

There is also a comment in the season 5 episode "Lady Bouvier's Lover" where Mr Burns is at the front door of the Simpson's house and makes a comment about Maggie being Pebbles, then a comment about bring chocolate and Homer goes 'Yabba Dabba Doo!'

Also, in the season 3 episode "Bart the Murderer" and listening to a horse race the announcer says one of the horses is named Yabba Dabba Doo.

edit - Or could it be this:

No, it was like a question - Homer's asking someone "Why would/did you do that?" but in a goofy way. I can totally hear it in my head, too. This might be the first "Mandala Effect" thing to really get me. :sigh:

If you watch the bit where he slides on the pipe, Homer doesn't go out the window he just slides across off-frame.
