its when every dad in the world gets the bright idea to put the shaft of the coffee hand grinder in their drill chuck and use the power of Dewalt

however if you do this with a ceramic grinder you stand a real good chance of ceramic flakes in your grounds and i'm just not super into that notion

i really like my hario, but ended up having to do a drop of loctite to keep the nut from coming loose. luckily i only ever want that one size grounds, so got it set perfectly and have left it at that setting.

i have some variety in my ground sizes, depending on if i'm cracking out the aeropress or doing a pour over, so i hope i never experience problems with my nut

harios are fine for say french press imo

for much finer grinds i'd look at something like like the 1zpresso jx-pro

that's the one i just got too

even with the stabilizing piece I'm thinking of buying the one some shop makes because i do coarse grinds and it feels a bit wobbly

i saw some folks mention using a spring washer so i might try one of those and maybe thread tape

that seems like setting yourself up for the jogger's dilemma: if you walk you'll never make it, but if you run you'll never make it.
