And it turns out he's the only guy and just leaves the armored car sitting at the curb while he picks up the deposits. There's no way in ever-living gently caress that's proper procedure for them. I've heard most American "armored" trucks are basically stripped of armor, that true?

I worked in the industry for a few years, the bigger companies (Garda, Brinks) are unionized so they have a very hard time getting away with things like that but occasionally still do it Smaller companies will cut every corner possible to under-bid the big companies and win a contract. They will literally send 1 person out with a truck full of cash, and expect them to both drive and do the other duties that normally would require a 3 person crew. They get away with anonymity for the most part (unmarked trucks), but something will give eventually from a combination of lack business practices and someone seizing the moment, and it will be a bad scene The insurance companies are the ones requiring the armor so if they strip it and get hit, all that means is the insurance company will give them a big fat $0

Way stockier and more armoured, but obviously less manouverable. Due to the rise in cash in transit robberies the argument was made to make the vehicles more incognito, but that truck looks way under prepared for what was being thrown at it, they're lucky as hell! This is usually the aftermath of a successful robbery:

I figure we can disrupt the cash transport business by using the gig economy. People can use their own car or bicycle. If any of our contractors get robbed we'll just hold them accountable for the amount lost.

Cameras, man. Can't steal from your own van if the boss is going to watch the footage. Or the cops, and they're the worst, they'll go pull video from the walgreens down the street or the gas station next door.

Probably 20 police cars blocking off each end of the street and surrounding an armored car that was stopped at the bank to exchange cash. Turns out the two guys in the armored car got into an argument that got pretty heated - supposedly they drew their guns on each other inside the van. The company monitors microphones in the vehicles so they can detect people plotting to steal money or whatever. I watched the aftermath as the supervisor had to count every dollar on the truck before they cleared the scene. It was crazy.

The company a goon worked for withdrew all of the shotguns they had previously issued. They found out a co worker had negligently discharged a scattergun straight up into the ceiling of the van after the lumper exited the vehicle. Lumper hears a thump, goes about his business, comes back to two deafened colleagues, a scorch mark on the ceiling and lead spall all over the interior. "What happened?" "WHAT?! NOTHING! WHAT!?"

Those tips are actually line replaceable. They could just remove it and trim out the difference. What's the procedure for when planes bump into each other on the ground like that? Does the NTSB or whoever have to do a full investigation as they would on a crash? And do the planes need to go through a specified level of inspection before they fly or do the airlines just exchange insurance info and figure it out for themselves? Edit: I mean for the winglet collision, not the planes swimming upstream to spawn.
