yep, I’ve been taking him out once a week for a 3-4 mile run and he is all about it. Even with the gentle leader, run time is Go Time, and he helps pull me up the hills, etc. Barely slows down after 3 miles, so I bet if I worked him up to it he could handle a 10k no problem. Unfortunately there aren’t any canicross events anywhere near here, he would be fantastic at it.

I had no idea there was a dedicated dog thread! And I just got a new dog and everything, although she spends most of her time sleeping. Some quirks Monty has picked up over there last year: -he will not eat his food after I put it in the bowl unless I give him noggin pats first -he will not eat some treats off the ground; they have to be handed to him -he will not leave my friend’s apartment without getting noggin pats from her first (seriously he will stare at her with his tail wagging and then bolt for the door that I’m holding open as soon as she pats his noggin)

 Most blessed thread on these Something Awful forums, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Apollo. He slept in his mom’s lap for our two hour drive home. His middle name is Oreo because he has a cream filling (the white fur on his chest.) He met Lando before and it went fine, but we’ll be working on introducing the two of them slowly, surely and safely!
