A friend had a BSOD and their hard drive is no longer showing in windows as a drive. I've not had them check if any wires have come loose yet or something, but Disk Manager is saying that they need to initialize a disk before it can be accessed. My guess is that the data table has gotten hosed somehow. Can anyone recommend a course of action to bring it back from the dead, or some software to pull files off it? He's tried Data Recovery Wizard by EaseUS but it wasn't even detecting the drive as a thing.

I use this one but it costs some money to use: http://active-undelete.com/ You could try some of the free ones as well: https://www.journaldev.com/36900/top-best-linux-data-recovery-tools
