A lot of the threads I follow have slowed or died, and I need between 3-10 new threads. I want threads that have between 5 and 30 posts per day on average. I'm into: History, woodworking, making fun of stuff, "good" science fiction and fantasy writing, "good" writing (craft discussions), accounting adjacent talk, making fun of political stuff, learning weird facts or tidbits. I'm not into: Cars, Guns, Military, very serious political chat, whatever FYAD is, whatever BYOB is, don't have time for games much anymore, music, anime/comic books, I live in the NW. There used to be a recommend threads thread but I guess Burt is dead?

I have been kind of idly browsing GBS and a couple of other subforums looking for new threads to follow. I guess what I'm saying is I want an algorithm to spoon-feed content to me, but lacking that I'll rely on fellow goons to make recommendations. At the same time, so many threads have titles that are just in-jokes it's hard to know what a thread might really be about.
