The road going across looks slightly more major so it would have right of way and give way signs on the smaller road. Stop signs are uncommon in the UK and I don't think I've ever seen a 4 way stop, someone always has right of way

four way stops are common in residential areas where you aren't expecting people to be driving very fast anyways, unless they're huge assholes

Yeah don't you have to slow down and see if someone is coming from the right that you have to yield to? Or does that rule not exist in the US?

These two idiots likely blow through that intersection without even slowing down literally every time they drive, and deserve exactly what they got.

Four-way stops are really the worst. Maybe it's because I'm not used to them but having to keep track of which of the other 3 cars arrived before or after you, and if they came to a complete stop or just slowed down, was a huge pain I'm the rear end. Yielding to the right is better (or would be if everyone knew to follow it) but a small roundabout is the best in these intersections. It's clear who you yield to and you can still blast through at full speed of there's no one else.

It was plastic with the tiniest layer of rubber to stop it marking whatever you were hitting. You can guess where I went hammering... This time my dad's reaction to being hit wasn't pretend.
