Just a heads up for anyone considering picking up D4DJ, the final EN release might not actually include any of the hololive songs due to licensing issues (but you can get them in the JP version of the game).

I kind of ignored Pikamee for a long time, mainly because her character design didn’t really grab my attention (which I’ve since learned is a terrible reason to avoid a vtuber). I checked out a couple of her streams on a whim a few weeks ago, and she’s quickly become one of my favorites. She’s just unfailingly optimistic, and I love listening to her speak. Her English is like 90% perfect, she just drops an article here and there.

Is Korone okay? She mentioned a bit ago having something bad happen recently that made her want to quit, and she's not streamed much in the last week-ish. She just did a short stream yesterday and the comments are all "rest as long as you need doggo" etc, and from an english translation I could glean from the insane scrolling chat window at the start of the stream, she went to the hospital and there's something wrong with her throat so she can't talk for very long, I think? Man, I hope it's nothing super serious.

Odd observation: I've noticed that when I streamer gets to a certain level of success they seem to be the victims of reverse financial domination. As in, people just bully them with subs and donos nonstop to "show affection" even after what seems to be a genuine ask for them to stop. Mouse's 500k/12k stream and that Hana clip just made it occur to me.
