Doesn't work for me either, they might have switched something on the backend by accident and just noticed. But it's only the first campaign.

There's some weirdness going on with the SteamDB listings - I think they're planning to change the purchase model so that you get the base campaign for free as a demo and buy the rest of them, reducing the price (and maybe allowing free players access to multiplayer with faction restrictions).

The latest dev update has this:

quote:

Operation Eagle will also be standalone exclusively on Steam from our main page
This means if you buy Operation Eagle, but not the main game, you can:

Play the full Usonia Faction Campaign

Play all the new multiplayer/skirmish/custom matches maps

Play on the new maps as host of a custom game

Play Polania campaign missions 1-5 (Tutorial)

Play multiplayer/skirmishes with Usonia or Polania

Choose from a selection of multiplayer/skirmish and challenge maps

Looks like the "tutorial" is being offered for free as a result of these changes.

I'd just like to try this game because, though I am terrible at RTS games, I liked Company of Heroes.

The Warhammer SKULLS Digital Goodie Pack over at GOG contains a copy of the mid-90s strategy game Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, as well as some Warhammer tat (mostly of the pen-and-paper kind).

Similarly, Warhammer Underworlds Online is free to snatch up on Steam for a week or so.

Has anybody skimmed the new itch bundle yet?
I gave it a quick look, but I mostly saw art asset packs, things I already have, pico-8 looking games, and an e-book reviewing all the castlevania games using content skimmed from an old fansite.
I threw down 5 bux for charity, but sorting though these mega bundles feels like a drag.

According to that tool's numbers, of the 1019 items in the Palestinian Aid bundle: 674 are computer games, 272 are physical games (mostly TTRPGs it seems), and 73 total are something else (including comics, books, game assets, soundtracks, etc).

There's a decent sized overlap with the previous BLM bundle (236 items of the 1019 total), but still a lot of stuff that wasn't in it.

Mini Metro

Morticians Tale
Cosmic Express
Nuclear Throne
Minit
Neon Struct
Hacknet
Calico
Sky Rogue
Democratic Solcialism Simulator
Pikuniku
Long Gone Days
Art SQOOL
Cook Serve Delicious 2

Anodyne
Milkmaid of the Milky Way
Glittermitten Grove
Super Win the Game
Fortune 499

Steam Marines 1/2
Future Grind
GNOG

Those are the ones from the first third or so I've made it through that I know range from interesting but kind of hosed up all the way up to excellent.

Sky Rogue was in the social justice bundle, and I think the entire thread agreed that was worth this price of admission alone, feels like a lost PS2 launch title that was great.

That's not accurate at all. I assume it will be updated, but off the top of my head "The Magus" is one and not on that list and there were at least 5 others not there that I can't remember the name of that were "a journaling game for a single player"

There's at least a dozen more, you just gotta dig a bit if that's your thing. Most have a description that mention either solo play or "GM less and one or more players."

Someone in the stream thread has done a few posts with a bunch of games from the bundle along with descriptions. I definitely think that randomly trying things out is pretty useless, because there is a lot of unnecessary crap in there, so people making lists of decent games in there is super helpful.
