The glaive is okay, but swings doing only 30 damage is pretty painful. The halberd occupies the same sort of niche but hits a little harder; it's basically a wash for me. What should I run on the ambusher? Cudgel seems good for loving up knights. I guess the big brain move would be to have a cudgel and a short sword and switch based on whom your fighting? I like hatchets for ambusher personally. Seems to 1-2 shot non-knights if I catch them from behind and good for throwing. Works for me in a standup fight because I generally like slower higher damage weapons. I tried the cudgel but I didn't really like it, doing a little better against Knights doesn't seem worth the tradeoff against everybody else.

If you're good at countering use the knife and just Q everyone in the head. Its special attack from behind will instakill anyone except a full health knight, and then they just need a tap for followup.

I went something like 16-0 in a game before i died. Lots of people don't know how to react when you dodge their first attack and hit them in the back of the head with a charged shovel attack. Shovel might be low-key one of the best weapons in the game. The overhead is devestating, and it's such an odd weapon people have trouble with it. You need good footwork to make use of it but once you've got that down you're golden.

I will never ever stop smacking people right in their stupid wounded faces with the bandage kit. I haven't killed anyone with one yet, but if one day I do, I'll just call it as them being too wounded to be saved and move on. I do however have a handful of teamkills from overzealous sprint attack usage. I have zero regrets. War is hell.

Here's how I feel about archers right now. Hopefully, they will find a meaninful way to nerf archers. Nothing worse than getting rag dolled across the map from 80 health because a crossbow bolt hit you in the finger... Maybe decrease limb damage quite a bit so that its really rewarding quality shots on the torso and head.

The archer fix is quite simple: One archer gets the bow. The next gets the arrow. When the archer with the bow falls, the archer with the arrow will pick up the bow.

Archer is actually incredible as a melee only class because people massively underestimate you and then you can loving destroy them if you are halfway good at counters and jabs

fix archers with the irl counterplay: shields. Make shields passively block missiles if they hit around the model even when not raised (like mount and blade). maybe also give footman the option for planted pavise OR spike block . Also give archers less ammo and put the ammo crates closer to contested areas. Most people don't know that you can light xbow bolts on fire if another archer plants a brazier. I really like the idea of teammates getting synergy from utility items and actually having to work together. replace medkits with bandages and take bandages away from everyone except footman who charged one up.

arrows(and ballista bolts) can definitely be blocked by an unraised shield, but the hitbox is just fucky.

Need to expand their physics kill capabilities by giving damage just for falling on people from a decent height, they already have the stumble/fall animations from tackle too. please encourage more ill advised aerial assaults.

A round also shouldn't end on certain objectives if the team completing it is actively being increasing it. Like pushing the battering ram on lionspire.

hosed up how Vanguard is the only class that gets the dagger, I loving love this thing. Even the Archer only gets the knife. I'd kill for one of the Knight subclasses to get it. Just a big shiny idiot running around backstabbing everyone for All Of Their HP like a fat ninja
