I'll go.
Historically my country has had an empire whithin which we tortured people to force them to pay taxes.
we dont do that as much now, but we still expect taxes from everywhere and we are still a constitutional monarchy.
we also make a lot of our money selling weapons to other countries.

I'd like to make world peace viral, but a lot of rich people with more money and power than myself want the opposite.
so before world peace is to have a chance, we need to remove such obstacles.

I've been using the mantra of "courtesy and consideration" for a few years now.

Courtesy is simple stuff like holding a door open for someone or helping pick stuff up if they dropped things. Being polite.

Consideration is recognizing people's lives. A 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 year old person that you meet for the first time; you have no idea of their background/history/life. Never make assumptions and treat everyone with respect.

These are baby steps, but I feel they help build a foundation for a more peaceful and civil humanity that we can build on.

I actually have a similar mantra that I've held onto for quite a few years myself. Though mine would be "courage and compassion" instead. Courage to speak up when I feel something is wrong, and to offer words of support and encouragement. Compassion to those who might be hurting, and understanding that pain might not always look like sadness.
