I always liked apple keyboards but since apple has decided that using two or more computers is the wrong number of computers to use I've got a logitech mx master 3 and craft. great mouse, the wheel on the kb is a bit of a gimmick but the quick switching is great. too bad apple will never license touchid

tbh if my alps adb keyboard could handle more than two keys pressed at once with the old usb adapter i'd probably still use it too

the locking, bottom left corner, caps lock should be the standard even today

those weren't great either. the key caps were bigger and horizontal pitch was narrower than normal keyboards.

matias are great. one of the switches on my quiet pro broke so I emailed them about buying a replacement. they sent 4, no extra charge

i almost bought maxes because my pros didnt fit right and kept going loose during walks. then i went up to the large tips and it got better. then i ponied up for the foam Comply ear tips that you pinch before you insert and they're perfect now. not one adjustment or reseat needed during a 1 hour sweaty power walk

if you have Apple devices and have had pairing issues with generics, yes. airpods by far the best pairing ability I've seen on bt. fast, always works, never have to forget and re-pair, etc

I have a Pixel 3a but I'm just curious. There's janky aspects but the pairing is generally fine and i can walk 10 feet away from my phone with no problem

so take it to the Fruit Stand and tell 'em what's wrong, it'll probably qualify for this:

https://support.apple.com/keyboard-service-program-for-mac-notebooks

They'll hopefully swap out the keyboard for free, which means a top case replacement, and you'll get a new keyboard, battery, trackpad, speakers..

thanks. that sucks cause if you build your own openssh you don’t get keychain support, and the homebrew people removed the patch that used to add that back in. So I was hoping I could use those types of keys before 2022-3 :smith: but thanks for checking!

if they support sign in with apple like they're supposed to you should get redirected to a webview or similar and sign in with your apple creds
