I don't know whether people noticed, but the lockdown doesn't go into effect until midnight - giving people plenty of time to get to their holiday destinations. Seems pretty deliberate when other measures have come into effect at 4pm.

She's all covid vaccinated since she started treatment for her stage 4 breast cancer ( I don't get my first covid jab til August ), and we've been looking forward to getting away together since her diagnosis at the start of April.
