So it might well be that simply taking a med crate would expand your ability to revive to players outside your squad. Also, one of the revealed specialists has the trait of fully healing people she revives, which implies that by default revives bring you back at reduced health.

There is a trait attached to the medic-syringe-gun-operator that makes her revive people at full health. I'd guess defibs (or whatever incarnation they are in this one) are still a gadget you equip to you can res anyone not in your squad.

I'm back on a Battlefield kick, BF4 mostly. Is there an active goon community playing the BF games together? I seem to remember at one point there was. Is there a SA Gaming discord? I thought I remembered one but I can't find it in my server list.

I've been busy lately but most nights at least somebody is playing BF1 and it would be cool to have more! The BF4 meta is kinda weird and ossified around weird hitbox stuff with jumping. It's still fun but can feel very stiff (in contrast to the jumping and sprinting) and stupid.

I installed BF4 and man I am terrible at it and the dumbass private server rules suck. It feels weird not getting CoD hit markers. I have no idea if shots are hitting.

The most players I have ever seen at one time has been on the main Battlefield Discord at http://www.discord.gg/battlefield - it is filled with people playing BF4 on PC at all times, and some BFV, all squadded up in the voice channels.
