I promised myself that I wouldn't go to the pub until I got my second jab, which is hard to keep up because heat like this kicks my alcoholism into overdrive. Luckily I have a nice garden and am well stocked myself, so I'm on track to avoiding the rona but keeping the cirrhosis. 👍

I put a tupperware container of frozen water in front of a desk fan, because apparently that's a protip, and it did absolutely sod all, except turn into an even more useless container of water in less than 5 minutes. Team blowing hot air around the room ineffectually - checking in.

You need to remove the humid air or you’re just going to saturate it and evaporation will stop. Which is also bad for your health.
