Pogz should still thank Wout for the bronze, because Wout made a heroic chase to bring everyone else back to a shot at silver.

I think the lamest two man finish I ever saw was the 2019 Tour stage where it was a two man break to the line with the extremely even sprinting matchup of Daryl Impey and Tiesj Benoot

Also god was Impey boring. I swear I'm not making up all anglo riders being unlikable charisma voids it just happens that way

All the riders specially prepping for the Olympics and the medals went to the three that probably did the most work in the entire Tour.

Top 8 I think. Or top 9 on the basis that Yates brothers are fully interchangeable.

I get why the Japan Cup isn't a WT race but given all the bike industry stuff (OK mainly just Shimano) in Japan it seems weird they don't have one

The Japan Cup would be a WT race if they wanted, they just don't want it to be one because they'd have to cut the wildcard spots for domestic teams.

Which incidentally is a big part of why the Tour of California went downhill

Just like that London Olympic event they should make this a regular event, maybe shorten it a bit.
