It's so wild how much of a better person I become watching the Olympics. When I'm watching football and Brady throws a pick I'm like "fu eat poo poo Brady you deserve to die" but I'm watching men's gymnastics now and the japanese dude just ate poo poo on the high bar and I'm like "one mistake shouldn't ruin someone, give the poor guy a mulligan and let him restart"

It's kind of funny watching them wipe down the boxing ring in between matches. Also kind of interesting in an age of Covid watching the in between round chats with the trainers. Trainers reaching in and pulling the boxers mouth guards out and then they drink a bit of water and spit it out. But the fighting is pretty good.

I like the freestyle dressage but yeah, this rote pattern poo poo sucks. Guess it's ok for a qualifying round, but I can't help remembering how figure skating got rid of the boring technical round ages ago.
