I didn't think about that, but that does seem to be a weird issue with Star Wars where the Imperial stuff is the more iconic and gets put on all the branding.

The other thing is the Empire has a lot more full-face helmets, so you can just stick 'generic stormtrooper' on something and people will go 'yep, that's a stormtrooper', while if you stick 'generic rebel pilot' on a T-shirt, people are going to be 'is that meant to be Luke?'
