Someone call Hank Hill and tell him his brother is gone. Incidentally I just found out that several of ZZ Top’s earliest hits were recorded in my hometown. They were set to play a show here in December but who knows if it’ll happen now.

I always wondered why they stopped developing their musical style in 1983. I mean, its a drum machine, syth bass and keyboards. Every few bars some throws in a guitar note that is run through 36 pedals, 10 of which are reverb.
