Spirit Goth is a label owned by the same dude who does CASTLEBEAT and Jaded Juice Riders (DIY Bedroom pop like Tame Impala--one person doing everything and mashing it together, maybe touring with a band). They’ve been doing that with the old pressings and stuff all year, it isn’t related. I agree otherwise though, seems pretty obvious why the three people in the band who didn’t tank all the bands momentum over time would want to end it. Still sucks! Night drive kill for love and closer to gray is a pretty drat great run though. Will always wonder what could have been with Dear Tommy though. All the singles were bulletproof

Yeah, I'm an absolutely huge Sufjan fan, but when they announced his next project would be a folk album collaboration with a folk artist I've never heard of, I wasn't exactly excited. After The Ascension, I was hoping to see Sufjan go in an edgier tone again, and Sufjan is a perfect baby angel who doesn't need anyone's help writing music. But I've been very happy with everything they've shown off so far.
